Wishing you all a Happy Guru Purnima π
Since morning I have been feeling so content and grateful to so many people who have been the source of my strength and have contributed to my journey of finding myself. Firstly, I’m thankful to my parents for giving me this beautiful life. Secondly, I’m grateful to my teachers in different phases of school, college, and even after that. Thirdly, I’m thankful to my wonderful family, who is still with me through all the thick & thin. Fourthly, my pals from all different stages of my life who have been the source of inspiration to begin my spiritual journey. Abhilasha, love you, sweetheart because it was none other than you who held my hand while I was drowning in the oceans of uncertainty and gross negativity. You took me on the path of spirituality. It’s not like I have become a spiritual Guru. Still, at least I have started understanding things from a different perspective.
What’s spirituality?Β We wonder if sitting in peace & having harmony with breathing is spirituality or, say, Meditation. Well, that’s just a part of it. I’m not denying it, but it’s just the start of exploring yourself. Because ultimately, what you are searching for outside in this world is peace, love, and harmony. Now let me tell you about my experience over the last few years that we are like those Kasturi Mrigas (Musk Deer) who keep searching for The source of that phenomenal fragrance. They never get to know that it’s within themselves. Whatever you are trying to find is deeply seated within you.Β
Our brain works like a machine producing thoughts continuously. If you don’t give it rest or time for servicing, it will give up soon. Meditation helps you repair all the wear & tear happening to your brain and soul through all kinds of thoughts, whether negative, malintent, anger, frustration and so onβ¦
During Meditation, you go deeper into yourself and explore yourself. The first thing we have forgotten by being immersed in the materialistic world’s comfort is that we’re not immortal. We have a limited period on this earth, and God has sent us with a purpose. Quoting from one of my favorite movies,
Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.
Forrest Gump
We have to escape this illusion that everything will remain the same. We have to consciously observe our lives –Β what are we doing?Β Is mental or intellectual growth happening? Is emotional development happening, or are we stuck somewhere? I am not writing for the sake of composing only. I appreciate that post-COVID period when my spiritual journey truly began and still going on.
I really pay my gratitude to God every day for waking me up and letting me pursue my life to explore all the marvels of his creation, this beautiful world, and so many mysteries, starting from myself through Meditation.
I have read somewhere that actual wise is one who is aware of and recognizes life, its functioning, how to deal with people, what to think, & what to feel. For that, you have to go deeper into it. Through Meditation, you can thoroughly wash your mind and emotions & make them utterly void of all that negativity and uneasiness and feel new & fresh, moment to moment!!! Live in the moment is the crux of Meditation π
See how vast this topic of Meditation is, but its impact on our lives is remarkable; therefore, I advise all of you to commence your spiritual journey as soon as possible. Stay blessed, everyone β€οΈππ
