It’s Sunday morning and beautiful weather, pursuing me to indulge in creativity. Well, the blog writing hit the canopy on my list for today 😊.

Reading books 📚 was always one of my favorite hobbies during my childhood. Still, with time other things attained a higher position on the priority list, and reading was left behind in fulfilling responsibilities towards many different fronts of life. You might feel that I repeatedly mention my son Vicky ❤️ but I believe that he is the core of my life, and perhaps I wouldn’t have been able to express all this without his backing.

So, after getting free from some responsibilities, I am enjoying my “Me-Time. ” I started reading again, though; your choice does change with time. I was enjoying my reading off & on until Vicky gifted me the Kindle; he knew his mom would resist by saying she loves to read from a paper book. Still, he knew how to convince me to change courses from conventional to advanced ones. He gifted me the Kindle Paperwhite 😍. I love reading and sharing the pearls of wisdom with my friends and family. Somehow I found it a bit time-consuming because I had to copy it from my Kindle app & had to paste it where I wanted to share it. So I was discussing this issue with Vicky yesterday night & he told me, “Mom, don’t worry, you go to sleep, and we will talk about it tomorrow morning.” To my surprise, till morning, he had set up everything to ensure I didn’t have to go through the lengthy process of copy paste. Now here is this new app (at least for me), Readwise, which connects with your Kindle and arranges your highlights chapter-wise, location-wise, and is relatively easy to share as well 🌟. Another feature is that you can re-memorize by glancing at your highlights without turning the whole book. Voila, I was ecstatic with joy and proud of Vicky again ❤️.

So, I wondering how the Technology Revolution has been proved aa a boon to the society. No doubt that paper books are still the first love for many people, but if we flip the coin, we might be able to see another beautiful aspect of having a Kindle that we saved millions of trees from cutting down and contributed to the environment 🌱on our part. For this noble cause, I request all book lovers to shift to the Kindle if they can & use this new app, Readwise, if they believe in sharing and caring. I love to benefit all my loved ones who, for some reason, can’t go over reading the books; at least by sharing the food for thought with them, they can enjoy the flavor of wisdom. They’re gonna bless me & Vicky 😁.
